UNFINISHED BUSINESS is a new semi-scripted reality dramedy that follows J Struktuur and the colorful Circle of friends, family, lovers, exes, business partners and personalities surrounding him.

Built from real relationships, real history and real-life situations, the series blends the addictive energy of reality television with comedy, confessionals and short-form storytelling designed for today's social media audience.

Every relationship has a history. Every story has more than one version. And in this Circle, what one person says happened isn't always how somebody else remembers it.

That's where The Third Side comes in.

The cast tells their stories. The audience watches, reacts, debates and decides who they believe—and the characters and stories viewers can't stop talking about can become an even bigger part of what comes next.

It's funny. It's messy. It's personal. And underneath the tea are real stories about friendship, love, loyalty, relationships, chosen family, entrepreneurship, LGBTQ+ life and the complicated spaces in between.

Because some relationships may be over.

Some conversations may have ended.

SERIES SYNOPSIS

Everybody has a past. But when your friends, family, lovers, exes and business partners are all part of the same Circle, the past has a funny way of becoming the present.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS follows entrepreneur J Struktuur and the unforgettable cast of characters who make up his world. They're friends, family, lovers, exes, business partners—and sometimes the lines between those relationships aren't quite so clear.

What begins around J's 45th birthday opens the door to years of friendships, complicated relationships, old situations, hilarious memories, untold stories and very different versions of what really happened.

Through real conversations and revealing confessionals, the Circle gets to tell their stories in their own words. But when one person's version doesn't match another's, there's one more side that matters:

YOURS.

Funny, messy, stylish and unapologetically real, UNFINISHED BUSINESS explores friendship, love, loyalty, relationships, entrepreneurship, chosen family and LGBTQ+ life in the South—proving that sometimes the relationship may be finished...

Our Story

UNFINISHED BUSINESS is being created differently.

We're building a social-first, semi-scripted reality dramedy from Mississippi that combines the personality and unpredictability of reality television, the storytelling of a scripted series, the honesty of confessionals and the power of an audience that gets to become The Third Side.

We're also creating space for stories and voices that don't always get the opportunity to be centered—Black LGBTQ+ lives, friendships, relationships, entrepreneurship, chosen family, culture and community in Mississippi and the South.

But we aren't creating a lecture.

We're creating good television.

We want you to laugh. Pick favorites. Choose sides. Debate what happened. Send episodes to your friends. Come back for the next story—and maybe understand somebody's life a little differently along the way.
